In part because he is a prolific blogger and an enthusiastic traveler, we are well aware that Ammon Cunningham loves his home state of Utah a lot. He feels it is far more than a great place to live; it’s also home to many of the best travel destinations in the world. As far as he is concerned, one great example of that is Cedar Breaks National Monument. Located in southwestern Utah, Cedar Breaks is quite literally a force of nature, meaning it was created by natural forces. The main feature in Cedar Breaks National Monument is its very colorful rocky landscape. The huge Cedar Breaks Amphitheater, which stretches more than 2,000 feet and is about 3 miles in diameter was formed naturally, as are most of the spectacular vistas along the Rim Drive. Another popular section of Cedar Breaks is The Ramparts Trail, a 4-mile hiking trail that runs along the edge of the plateau and eventually leads to an amazing view of the amphitheater.
