As far as avid travel enthusiast and prolific blogger Ammon Cunningham is concerned, while he loves living in Utah, the fact that his home state has some of the most incredible travel destinations in the world is too much of a secret. That’s why he loves to share what he knows about Utah’s sights, like Canyonlands National Park.
Canyonlands National Park is located in the southeast corner of the state, which may be one reason it is often referred to as Utah's version of the Grand Canyon, which isn’t incredibly far away. In fact, many of the views are often equally spectacular. Amon Cunningham writes about the fact that the amazing vistas that overlook the carved canyons below and the way they are augmented by the incredible views of snowcapped mountains in the distance, make this National Park a must-see. There is a reason more than 630,000 people visited the park last year and Ammong Cunningham knows why. In addition to the scenery, there are several other districts that are more remote but worth the hike, like Mesa Arch, which is a stunning arch, and the White Rim Road, which is a winding dirt road along sheer cliffs and dramatic drops as it descends into the valley below.
